What is Spartan Blue?

Spartan Blue is a 16-bit microcomputer core written in Verilog targeting the Xilinx Spartan 3 demo board from Digilent. The computer is roughly based on the "Blue" machine from Caxton Foster's book "Computer Architecture". Judging by the dates in some of the files, I was working on Blue mostly during 2006.

Note: Spartan is probably a trademark of Xilinx. This project is not associated with Xilinx in any way, other than as a customer using their chip and the ISE tool.
